Each cartridge has a capacity of 10,000 to 15,000 gallons depending on your water quality. For a typical household, this translates to approximately 6 to 12 months of use. Higher contaminant levels will reduce the effective lifespan, so households with very hard water should replace closer to the 6-month mark.
